In-camera Inverted Double Exposure – NEW for 2018

I experiment a lot with different photographic and post-processing techniques.

When a number of other photographers begin to try and copy my techniques, I tend to find a new direction, just to remain ‘different’ from the rest. My goal is to bring photography more into the art world. In the fall of 2017, I began to take in-camera, inverted, double exposures. I take a photo, flip my camera upside down, move it around and tilt the angle, and take a second exposure on top of the first. I then process the photo to a different level in Photoshop by removing colours, desaturating other colours, enhancing the exposure, shadows, highlights, etc. until I arrive at something I am satisfied with.
